Football Manager 27 explains its new-player tools ahead of launch
Free PC/Mac preview begins 30 October at 04:00 AEST; full release is 10 November. Delegation and Tactical Tweaks help newcomers start.
The free PC/Mac Launch Preview starts at 18:00 GMT on 29 October; full release is 10 November. In Brisbane, the preview begins at 04:00 AEST on 30 October. Sports Interactive's dated announcement is the clearest source for the schedule.
Free preview, paid access, full release
The free period ends at 18:00 GMT on 3 November, or 04:00 AEST on 4 November. Continued access then requires an eligible purchase or subscription. Preview saves carry into the full game. The Game Pass footnote names Ultimate and PC Game Pass, not every tier.
Start without managing everything
In Xbox Wire's interview, developer Ant Farley explains staff delegation: focus on recruitment or tactics while staff handle other responsibilities. Tactical Tweaks combine several tactical changes behind one control.
Console is described as more streamlined, while PC offers more granular information and pacing options. That explains design differences; it does not prove one version is better.
Why we corrected the dates
Xbox Wire's closing line gives 3 November as the PC launch, conflicting with Sports Interactive's own announcements. We now use the developer's 10 November full-release date and retain the conflicting source for transparency. Preview builds may contain incomplete licensed assets.
