PS5’s Prism Collection brings back transparent controllers
Flare Orange, Emerald Green and Graphite Gray lead Sony’s new accessory collection.
Sony's Prism accessories start launching on 4 February 2027, with pre-orders opening on 10 November 2026. Flare Orange, Emerald Green and Graphite Gray finishes cover DualSense controllers and matching PS5 console covers.
A design refresh
The 28 October reveal centres on glossy, see-through finishes, including the controller's back. Sony's designers connect the look to transparent hardware from the late 1990s. The announcement does not promise lower input latency or new controller features.
Regional availability matters
Exact launch dates and stock can differ by country. Sony's direct-sales list covers the US and selected European markets; Australia is not on that list. Participating local retailers are the relevant place to check.
The announced US controller RRP is US$84.99, with covers at US$74.99. Those are US reference prices, not Australian quotes. We have not verified an Australian price and are not converting a foreign RRP into a local deal.
Before ordering console covers
Confirm the exact supported console model and retailer product code. A matching colour name alone does not establish that a cover fits your PS5.
