Borderlands 4 Boss Blitz: 500,000 boss kills, four weapon skins and The Horns Twitch Drop
Gearbox's November community challenge runs through 15 November. Here's how to help reach the shared boss-kill target, what rewards are conditional and how to claim the separate Twitch Drop.

There's a community target to chase in Borderlands 4 this week, and you don't have to do 500,000 kills yourself. The November Boss Blitz challenge asks players collectively to defeat 500,000 bosses between 6 and 15 November 2026, using any of the four original Vault Hunters: Vex, Amon, Rafa or Harlowe. Gearbox says reaching the shared target will unlock a reward code for four weapon skins.
Quick answer: what do you need to do?
- Play Borderlands 4 during the event period with one of the four base-game Vault Hunters.
- Defeat bosses. Your kills contribute toward the wider community total, not a personal 500,000-kill requirement.
- Watch official channels for a SHiFT code if the community reaches the target. The code is conditional, not already guaranteed.
Which weapon skins are at stake?
Gearbox names four weapon skins: Troubled Upbringing (Vex-inspired), Fresh Spray (Rafa-inspired), Tally Them All (Amon-inspired) and Merch Line (Harlowe-inspired). The publisher says they are usable on guns by all Vault Hunters. That does not mean each Vault Hunter has to defeat a separate 500,000 bosses.
A separate Twitch Drop: The Horns
There is also a separate viewing reward linked to The Hunt. With your SHiFT and Twitch accounts linked, Gearbox says you can watch a Twitch Drops-enabled Borderlands 4 stream for at least 30 minutes between 6 and 15 November to unlock The Horns Vault Hunter Head. The publisher advises claiming the reward on Twitch within 24 hours. Your SHiFT account also needs to be linked to the platform account you use to play.
Before you jump in
Check the event dates, account links and official SHiFT announcement before expecting cosmetics to appear in-game. The Boss Blitz reward depends on a shared milestone; the viewing drop uses separate Twitch conditions. Avoid confusion by treating them as two distinct reward routes.
