No Man's Sky Forsaken 7.13: Corvette deliveries, lost mementos, salvage and performance fixes
Hello Games' November 2 patch adjusts Corvette Haulage, fixes disappearing mementos and salvage, improves minimal HUD guidance and addresses more stability problems. Steam received the announcement first.

Forsaken 7.13 is a maintenance patch with meaningful changes to No Man's Sky's new Corvette delivery loop. Hello Games published its notes on 2 November 2026, confirming the patch was live on Steam when announced. The studio said other platforms would follow. A patch being announced for Steam is not proof that it has reached every console or device.
What changes for Corvette Haulage?
The new update adds a delivery variant which takes Corvette Haulage packages to space stations. It also fixes an issue that made package handoffs to delivery management boxes difficult, plus an issue where carried packages could be dropped when a player stepped out of their Corvette.
For somebody who has been losing time trying to place delivery cargo, that distinction matters. The patch targets the handoff mechanics and an unintended package-loss case; it does not claim to eliminate every risk of interrupted deliveries or change every possible mission reward.
Trading and scavenging: fewer ways to lose progress
Hello Games lists a fix for salvageable parts that previously could not be collected from space hulks. Separately, the studio says mementos will no longer be lost when buying new Corvette parts from a Forsaken Trader while inventory is full. If your inventory is tight, it remains sensible to check free slots before committing to a trade, especially until you have verified your platform is running the patch.
Building Corvettes and getting around
- Some Corvette parts which snapped to incorrect positions during construction have been corrected.
- Parts which could trap a player inside a Corvette can now be deleted in configuration/edit mode.
- Collisions between Corvettes leaving the Anomaly were addressed.
- New Corvette parts received visual work and optimisation.
- Mission markers shown for seamless warping have been improved.
- Clarity in minimal HUD mode received further improvements.
The update also targets an unwanted black warp effect and situations where multiple ships landed at the same Planetary Outpost pad. Those are specific published fixes, not a promise that every animation or ship behaviour is now flawless.
Performance, crashes and platform differences
The developer lists improved load times and file-system performance, a rare base-image download crash fix, a rare PlayStation 5 crash fix, and general stability work. It doesn't publish measured frame-rate improvements for particular graphics cards. Claims such as '10% more FPS' would require independent benchmarks and cannot be inferred from these notes.
The same patch notes include Steam Frame text-input fixes and a substantial set of iOS-specific controls, UI and stability adjustments: auto-run activation by tapping, haptic-feedback improvements, tooltip icons, crosshair and button-prompt issues, and improvements to starship controls. Players on a different platform should not assume every mobile-only fix applies to their client.
How to check whether you have the right patch
- Open the game or storefront's update history and check the installed build.
- Compare the version and platform against the official No Man's Sky release log; individual platforms can be listed separately.
- For an ongoing delivery or salvage problem, record the exact mission type, planet, platform and steps that reproduce it.
- If it still happens on a relevant updated build, use the Hello Games bug reporting portal rather than treating older changelogs as proof of a fix.
How 7.13 fits with 7.11 and 7.12
7.11 addressed a system-warp crash on 29 October. 7.12 addressed an Anomaly teleporter crash on 30 October. 7.13 is the broader 2 November maintenance pass discussed here. These are distinct release announcements. Our dated hotfix comparison keeps them separated.
All specific fixes and availability statements here are drawn from Hello Games' official 7.13 notes. No first-hand testing or measured performance figures are claimed.
