GTA VI's score is by Justice: new single, album date and what Rockstar confirmed
Rockstar's 29 October announcement names Justice as GTA VI's adaptive-score composers and sets the 30-track score album for 11 December. Here's how it differs from The Album and the in-game radio.

Rockstar has finally named the composers behind Grand Theft Auto VI's original score: French electronic duo Justice. The company's 29 October 2026 announcement describes adaptive music that responds to how Jason and Lucia move through Vice City and Leonida, and confirms a separate original-score album for 11 December.
Two official music releases, two different jobs
| Release | When | What's confirmed |
|---|---|---|
| Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album | 19 November 2026 | 34 original tracks announced in September; a separate soundtrack release accompanying the game |
| Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score by Justice | 11 December 2026 | 30-track album featuring adaptive-score compositions and associated tracks |
| Grand Theft Auto VI game | 19 November 2026 | PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S at launch |
Don't confuse the score with the soundtrack or radio selections. The score is composed to serve the game's scenes and systems; the separate Album assembles officially announced original songs; radio stations are curated entertainment inside the world. Rockstar has published information about all three, but they are not interchangeable track lists.
The new single and the launch-trailer connection
Rockstar's 29 October post introduced the single “Pusher” featuring Gesaffelstein. It also references “Flower in a Hurricane” featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, heard in the October 15 launch trailer. Music credits and featured-artist listings come from the publisher; claims about unannounced radio hosts, missions or an exact adaptive score system should remain speculation until demonstrated.
Why an adaptive score matters
GTA has long used music to define its cities, but Rockstar's wording specifically calls this score adaptive. That suggests compositions can change to fit the player's moment rather than playing as unchanging tracks. It does not confirm specific procedural-music features, character-specific motifs, or how the score layers work technically. Those details would need a developer breakdown or hands-on testing.
What has been announced for the game?
The publisher still lists GTA VI for Thursday 19 November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar's official pages focus on Jason, Lucia and the fictional state of Leonida. A PC release date is not included in the current official launch-platform listing, so a particular month or year circulating on social media is not a confirmed PC date.
For an original look at the game, use Rockstar's official launch trailer and the GTA VI media and artwork hub. These are safer references than re-uploaded footage labelled “leaked PC gameplay”.
What we'll watch next
The next useful updates are details about soundtrack licensing, soundtrack/platform availability, platform performance and any separately announced PC plans. Until Rockstar supplies them, we'll keep speculation labelled instead of turning fan predictions into false headlines.
