Magic Arena Reality Fracture: what to play this weekend and when each draft ends

Reality Fracture Quick Draft, Premier Draft and Arena Direct do not end together. Here are the publisher's published windows and what to check before spending Gems.

Not every Reality Fracture draft queue closes at the same time. Wizards of the Coast's official event schedule gives distinct windows for Quick Draft, Premier Draft and Arena Direct. Use the dates below to decide what is worth opening on 31 October before committing currency or time.

Time-zone warning for Australia: these are Wizards' published calendar dates, not independently verified AEST queue shutdown times. The in-game event timer is the final reference. Don't make a last-minute entry on the assumption that “1 November” means 11:59 pm Brisbane time.

What to do before entering

  1. Open Arena and check whether the queue is still visible and when its timer ends.
  2. Read the entry cost and reward table in your client; we have not verified live Gem or Gold prices or win-rate odds.
  3. Decide whether you want to learn the set, collect cards or chase a particular prize; those favour different event choices.
  4. Check the exact format, deck size and whether your draft picks remain in your collection before entering.
  5. If considering Arena Direct, verify account, region, shipping, prize and redemption rules; the headline prize is not a guarantee.

For someone learning Limited

Start with a modest game plan: take reliable cards you can cast, favour a coherent two-colour base unless your pool supports splashing, and value interaction. After each match, review which cards sat dead in hand. A draft list from a professional player is context, not a substitute for your actual pool.

For regular players

The real opportunity cost is time as well as entry currency. If you want to practice Reality Fracture ahead of an event, check the current Quick Draft window first. If you want the Halloween throwback instead, Midnight Hunt's Flashback window is shorter. The schedule can change; look at Wizards' calendar and the client before each session.
