You've got until 4 November to tackle Rockstar's final October Halloween challenge. The objective is to complete ten waves in a Survival without dying. Rockstar lists GTA$250,000 and the Slasher Clown Outfit as the rewards for the October 29–November 4 challenge. This is not a simple login reward or a prize for failing the tenth wave.

Finish each October Weekly ChallengeExtra GTA$2 million; Rockstar specifies delivery within 72 hoursMonth-long completion objective

The extra GTA$2 million requires finishing all the month’s weekly tasks, not just the current challenge. If you missed an earlier challenge, do not assume the final week alone will award the full-month bonus.

Practical preparation before your attempt

  1. Open the current GTA Online Weekly Challenge panel and confirm the active requirement; make sure you are playing the correct Survival activity.
  2. Restock ammunition and armour before starting. Spending a little upfront is better than losing progress on the late waves.
  3. Choose an arena with defensible cover and sightlines you understand. The best spot depends on which Survival variants are available.
  4. Conserve survivability resources for the later waves; the key restriction is no deaths during your ten-wave clear.
  5. Check that the challenge completes in-game before quitting. Rockstar says some additional bonus money may take up to 72 hours to arrive.

These are general risk-reduction suggestions, not a tested map exploit or a guaranteed 10-wave strategy. We have not verified a specific AFK or invincibility glitch, and using one could threaten your account or reward eligibility.

Other October activities worth knowing

Rockstar also highlighted Ghosts Exposed, Slasher activities, Halloween Survivals, Ludendorff Cemetery, and seasonal events. Its October announcement lists bonuses for Bail Office work, Vincent's Dispatch Work and certain racing activities. Those month-long and rotating bonuses should be checked against the current in-game screen before committing a long session.

PC fix: version 1.73

On 27 October, Rockstar's support notes documented a PC Enhanced fix for a crash occurring when the game launched. That is a PC stability repair, not a new vehicle, heist or economy buff.
