No Man's Sky Forsaken 7.12 fixes Anomaly teleporter crash: PS5 first, other platforms to follow
Hello Games' 30 October patch 7.12 is now live on PS5. Its official list names one teleporter crash fix, not a new gameplay update or confirmed worldwide release on other platforms.

Version 7.12 is live on PlayStation 5 as of the official 30 October 2026 announcement. Hello Games says its fixes will come to other platforms as soon as possible; the publisher has not established a single confirmed simultaneous rollout time for Steam, Xbox, Switch or mobile.
The actual confirmed fix
The complete published 7.12 change list names one resolved issue: a crash that could occur when using the teleporter in the Space Anomaly. Despite the version change, the post does not list additional balance changes, new items, weapon buffs, nerfs, mission objectives or graphical improvements.

How 7.12 differs from 7.11
The preceding 7.11 patch was released on Steam first on 29 October. It reported the Anomaly teleporter crash fix and a crash when warping to another system. The newer 7.12 PS5 release lists the teleporter fix, but does not independently list the second warp crash issue. Avoid assuming all older Steam fixes are included unless the platform patch notes or installed version confirm it.
Should you change how you play?
- Check the in-game version on your platform before troubleshooting.
- If you're on PS5, 7.12 specifically addresses one possible Space Anomaly teleport crash.
- For other platforms, check the publisher's release log before telling someone they must have received the same hotfix.
- Keep reporting reproducible crashes through Hello Games' support channels, including the activity and location immediately before the crash.
What's included in Forsaken itself?
The 28 October Forsaken content update is the large content release: haunted mementos at derelicts and infested outposts, Forsaken Traders, themed corvette components, a new multi-tool option and quality-of-life changes. Those are 7.10 features, not new additions from 7.12.
