Warframe Taubound: Moonflesh farming, rewards and the November 17 deadline

Epoch Operation: Taubound is a one-time event. Here's how to access Eris, collect Moonflesh, exchange it for rewards and avoid confusing the event with the permanent Tau Prologue.

If you only have time for one Warframe activity this week, check your Taubound progress. Digital Extremes says the one-time Epoch Operation began on 15 October and ends on 17 November 2026. It offers event-specific rewards, narrative moments and a role in opening the road to Tau.

Warframe key October dates: Nidus and Saryn Prime Resurgence now, Naberus until November 2, Taubound until November 17.

How to start, even on a newer account

The normal Star Chart route to Eris is temporarily relaxed for eligible participants. Complete Vor's Prize; the official announcement says this grants access to Eris for the event without its normal Junction requirements. You do not need to have finished The Hex and The Old Peace merely to participate in the Moonflesh event.

How Moonflesh collection works

  1. Travel to Eris and complete available missions. Each mission awards a fixed amount of Moonflesh according to the event rules.
  2. Defeat Infested enemies for additional occasional Moonflesh drops; do not treat those as guaranteed per enemy.
  3. Watch rotating Tactical Alerts, which can boost your event collection.
  4. Trade accumulated Moonflesh to Praghasa for the rewards you want, and check the available stock before committing your time.
  5. Return during the event for daily narrative messages if those interest you; Digital Extremes says these interactions are tied to this limited run.

What rewards are available?

The official list includes a new Syandana, Armor Set and Amp Skin, alongside materials and familiar upgrade items such as Kuva, Endo, Credits, Tauforged Archon Shards, Arcanes and other items. Availability and costs should be checked in Praghasa's live vendor interface rather than relying on a static community spreadsheet.

What to do before November 2

Don't get so focused on Taubound that you miss Naberus. Its Halloween festivities and Hallowed Nightmares run until November 2 (11 a.m. ET in the developer announcement). Check Daughter's seasonal shop and your Mother Tokens before that deadline. Taubound lasts longer, but the studio explicitly says it will not be rerun, making its final reward check important too.

Be cautious with purported “best Moonflesh per minute” builds on video or social feeds: conditions, loadouts and rotating Alerts can change the numbers. This guide explains confirmed mechanics and deadlines, not an independently benchmarked farming route.
