As of 2am AEST, 31 October 2026, the latest published Infinity Ward launch patch section is dated 29 October. That section chiefly improves DMZ mission cash rewards and fixes Scavenger behaviour, exfil hazards and Hajīn terrain. The 28 October update separately restricts Possum, and the 25 October update reduces Drill Charge damage against Colossus enemies. These are different dates and different mechanics.

Important: The developer tunes DMZ and Multiplayer weapons separately. The rifle/SMG damage table in the 28 October patch is explicitly a Multiplayer list and must not be used as a verified DMZ weapon tier list. See our Multiplayer weapon-by-weapon breakdown.

24 OctoberHajīn / exfilMore rock-stuck zones fixed and exfil helicopter disappearance addressed. Some PC dog tag-related network issues flagged at the time.
23 OctoberSurvival equipmentGas Masks (including Durable) no longer break immediately in radiation; disposable Parachutes now have three uses.

What this actually changes for your run

Replaying a Story Mission or taking a nearby Side Op may now help rebuild your cash. Infinity Ward did not publish exact before-and-after payouts, so claiming any particular cash-per-minute figure would be invented. Compare your own successful extractions and objectives, rather than assuming the biggest advertised reward is the safest.

Possum remains a survival tool but can no longer be immediately used to return to a fight against the squad that downed you. You must meet the location/timing restriction described by the studio. Separately, reduced Drill Charge effectiveness against a Colossus means old damage assumptions are not reliable; the patch does not publish new numerical damage values.

Fixes are not guarantees

The 29 October notes address enemy helicopters colliding with an exfil helicopter, several places players could get stuck on Hajīn and an immediate Scavenger detection bug. They do not certify every exfil, AI behaviour or map edge as bug-free. Mastery Camo squad progression, certain mission loot, encrypted logs and dog-tag problems also received targeted repairs.

Known issues and things still to watch

The 28 October official known-issues section still flags the Patriot XMR Platinum Camo challenge UI, some Calling Cards, Best Play selection and a case where Classic Prestige through DMZ menus can prevent new Multiplayer classes until previously created classes containing newly relocked items are deleted. Check the official live notes and linked Infinity Ward issue board before acting on old workaround advice.

Plan your next deployment

  1. Check your Free Loadout and Overflow Stash before matchmaking.
  2. Choose one Dynamic Op, Side Op or known replay mission appropriate for your kit; treat reward values as unmeasured.
  3. Use the interactive Hājīn field map for named places and a route plan. Its positions are editorial approximations, not verified live exfil coordinates.
  4. When extracting, retain situational awareness; bug fixes reduce known failure cases without removing PvP or AI risk.

Our earlier 29 October economy explainer contains practical cash-progression advice. This tracker adds the dated changes that came before it, including Possum and Colossus.
